Fiona Bell Millinery has a large selection of hats and headpieces available to hire or buy, the majority of which are handmade by Fiona using traditional millinery methods. Top quality materials are used including wool and fur felt, tweeds, reclaimed vintage furs, silks, sinamay, albaca, crinolin and jinsin, hats can be adorned with various feathers, jewels and veiling. Hats are available to hire or purchase and bespoke commissions are taken.
An appointment must be made to visit me in Longhorsley to discuss your requirements and try on some hats, some people find what they are looking for in 5 or 10 minutes while others may take an hour or more, you will receive my complete attention and an honest opinion, come along by yourself or feel free to bring a friend for a second opinion, you will be made to feel very welcome, you will not feel rushed, the most important thing is to find the hat you love.
It is very helpful if you can bring your outfit/bag/shoes with you, but lots of people like to find their perfect hat first then look for the dress.
Trims and feathers can be changed on hire hats to match your requirements.
I can be available most times including weekends and evenings if required.
